Blankfest Quebec III Update

Many thanks to all Montrealers who made it to this year's Blankfest Quebec III event at Les Katacombes. An amazing show and over 714 blanket's and coats were donated for The Old Brewery Mission.

Blankfest Quebec III

If you're looking for a great night out, head downtown to support a great cause tonight at Blankfest Quebec III in support of the Old Brewery Mission. CJIM's own Bling will be hosting the event which gets underway at 9 PM @ Les Katacombes, 1635 St-Laurent. Admission is a Blanket or Donation of Winter Clothing. Help Montreal's homeless cope with this winter and also give hope.

Arcade Fire wins Album of The Year

Congratulations to Montreal's own Arcade Fire for taking home the Grammy for Album of The Year. It is a major success for one of this city's most successful indie bands. Arcade Fire's award winning album Suburbs is available through iTunes.

Blankfest Quebec 3 Warms Up Montreal's Homeless

Over the last two years, Blankfest Quebec has been collecting winter clothing for Montreal's homeless men and women and has received over 1,000 clothing items to date. This year's 3rd annual Blankfest Quebec will be hosted at Katacombes (1635 St-Laurent) on February 25th with a special guest performance from NYC's Blankfest founder Kenn Rowell and his band, The Baghdaddios. The night will also include performances from local repeat supporters Vinyl Hero, Emery Street, The In n Outs, and newcomers Kill Matilda from Vancouver.
