Kings of Leon Doc Coming Soon

Kings of Leon are set to release their documentary film on DVD, Blu Ray and iTunes November 1st. 'Talihina Sky: The Story of Kings of Leon' premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 21 and was later acquired by Showtime. The documentary details the southern upbringing of the family band on their journey from the poor streets of America's bible-belt to rock stardom.

Shat's Back ...in the studio

Beaming into record stores near you is William Shatner's new album "Seeking Major Tom." Among the eclectic collection of Bill the Shat covers is Black Sabbath's "Iron Man." Shatner's album warps into record stores October 11th and features collaborations with rock musicians such as Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Paice of Deep Purple, Peter Frampton, Johnny Winter, Michael Schenker, Steve Howe of Yes, among others.

Canadian Music Legend & Friends Rock Out for a Cause

Dave Matthews, Arcade Fire, Eddie Vedder and Foo Fighters are just some of the acts joining Neil Young at the Bridge School Benefit concerts this fall. The Bridge School develops and uses advanced technologies to aid in the instruction of children with disabilities. The concerts take place on October 22 and 23rd at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. Organized by Neil and his wife, Pegi, the Bridge School Benefit Concert is an all-acoustic, non-profit charity event held every October; all proceeds from the event directly benefit the operations of The Bridge School. Young's involvement is in part because both of his sons have cerebral palsy and his daughter, like Young himself, has epilepsy. More info at www.bridgeschool.org

The Red Hot Chili Peppers new album, I'm With You, debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart and No. 1 on Billboard's Rock and Alternative album charts. The album sold over 228,000 copies in the first week according to SoundScan. The Chilis surpassed their own record for the artist with the most Number One singles in the Modern Rock radio chart history with 12.

A Farewell to Things

Rush will be putting some of their rock history up for an Ebay auction with proceeds going to the charity Grapes For Humanity. Grapes For Humanity raises fund for a variety of charitable organizations through wine tasting events & auctions their website has more info grapesforhumanity.com. New Order Reunite for 2 Shows

New Order will play for the first time in five years for a pair of charity concerts next month. The shows will take place at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels on October 17th and La Bataclanon in Paris on October 18th to raise money for artist and filmmaker Michael Shamberg, who has been struggling with a severe illness since 2005. This lineup of New Order will not include original bassist Pete Hook who left the band on bad terms in 2007. The two shows will include keyboardist Gilliam Gilbert, who hasn't toured with the band since 2001.
